This captures accurately the lack of focus and motivation so many of us have been feeling during the lockdown... and brings up some fascinating philosophical questions, too.
I wonder - how much can yoga, meditation and positive affirmations really override the fact that humans are social creatures? Is it bad that we feel lost and confused, meaningless, without our tribe? And at the same time, I see this year as a great purge... many of us are being forced to confront our insecurities, our demons, which for you (as like me) revolve around being 'productive', being seen and liked.
I think you capture one of the most important things at the end of the article... the connection with nature. As we start to see the collapse of our systems, our empires, we will inevitably return to the source of all life - nature herself. The more you get to know the birds, insects, and plants, the less lonely you may feel :) - and I'm also hoping that this will help wake millions of people up to the imminent threats facing our climate and our species, too.
